TAS Teacher

<p>Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School in the Lasallian tradition, located in Castle Hill, NSW. The College has an enrolment of approximately 2,300 students, with boys in Years 7 to 10 and a co-educational setting in Years 11 and 12. <p style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>Permanent Full-Time Position – Commencing January 2026</em></strong></p>
<p><a>We are seeking a passionate and innovative TAS Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have the <strong>ability to teach in one </strong>or more of the <strong>following areas</strong>: <strong>Design & Technology</strong>, <strong>Timber</strong>, and/or <strong>Construction</strong>.</a></p>
<p><a>You will deliver engaging and effective lessons, support students in their learning journey, and contribute to their academic success and pastoral care. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence in teaching are essential.</a></p>
<p><strong>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the areas of:</strong></p>
<p>· Ability to teach TAS Stages 4-6</p>
<p>· Planning and implementing effective teaching and learning strategies</p>
<p>· Provide a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students</p>
<p>· Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning</p>
<p>· Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages is preferred but not essential</p>
<p>· Working collaboratively in an English Faculty</p>
<p>· Ability to implement new syllabi</p>
<p>· Willingness to teach in an additional Key Learning Area (KLA) is desirable</p>
<p>· Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment</p>
<p>· Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes</p>
<p>· Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning.</p>
