The College is seeking an enthusiastic sports administrator, in particular for Volleyball, to support the coordination of our sports program.

Our outdoor education campus, Tallong, is located on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands. Our Early Education Centre (Mary Bailey House) and Out of School Hours (OOSH) services are located in the grounds of the Primary (Del Monte) Campus. </p><p><strong>Position Permanent Part-Time (4 days a week, 7.6 hours a day, 48 weeks a year)</strong></p><p><strong>Commencement date: 28 January 2025 or by negotiation</strong></p><p>The Sports Administrator is responsible for the coordination, development and delivery of a wide range of co-curricular sports programs and assisting in the overall responsibility of convening specific sports for students across the College. This position reports to the Director of Sport and Co-Curricular Activities and works closely with other team members in growing student participation and improvement of performance in sport at the College. The Sports Administrator will join our highly successful Sports Department. </p><p><strong>The successful candidate will:</strong></p><ul><li>support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College </li><li>demonstrate outstanding leadership skills including the ability to mentor, guide and advise staff and students</li><li>be a strategic and collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams </li><li>keep accurate records of incidents and injuries and report to the Director of Sport and Co-curricular Activities</li><li>have a sound knowledge of sports coordination and administration, particularly in Volleyball</li><li>support  the development, implementation and evaluation of sport policies and programs</li><li>demonstrate a commitment to coach and mentor coaches on Mondays and Thursdays during the whole year (4.00pm to 6.00pm) and Sundays while we play the Sydney Volleyball League (Terms 2 and 3 and the very end of Term 1)</li><li>demonstrate a commitment to Saturday throughout the year  (as one of the 4 working days expected in this role)</li></ul><p><strong>This position will be required to work four days per week with the expectation of weekend sport attendance. </strong></p><p>Level 2 Volleyball Coaching qualifications would be highly advantageous.</p><p><strong>Please visit the College website for further application details: </strong><a href="https://www.ssc.nsw.edu.au/about-santa-sabina/employment-vacancies/" rel="nofollow">https://www.ssc.nsw.edu.au/about-santa-sabina/employment-vacancies/</a></p><p>Applications must contain a cover letter addressed to the <strong>College Principal, Ms Paulina Skerman</strong>.
