<p>St Laurence&#39;s College is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition with an enrolment of approximately 2,000 boys from Years 5-12.</p><p>Applications are invited for the position of Head of Middle School Students, permanent, full-time, to commence Monday 20 January 2025.</p><p>The Head of Middle School Students, in conjunction with the Dean of Students, is responsible for implementing the overall direction of the Middle School and, in particular, the pastoral care and formation programs for students within the Middle School (Year 7, 8 &amp; 9).</p><p>Under the leadership of the Dean of Students, the Head of Middle School Students is expected to lead the promotion and development of effective strategies and programs that are based on contemporary research about teaching and learning, school behavioral management programs and student well-being issues in order to develop a caring, supportive and responsive environment for all students within the Middle School.</p><p>The Head of Middle School Students, in conjunction with the Head of senior School Students, form key roles within both the Pastoral Leadership team and the Wellbeing and Engagement Team.</p><p>The Head of Middle School Students will comply with all EREA and College Policies and ensure that programs in the Middle School support the College mission.</p><p>Note: All applicants will be subject to EREA and legislative screening procedures and will be required to authorise such checks and provide identification.
