We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and passionate people to join our community in the role of casual relief teacher. You will be a qualified teacher and registered with the Tasmanian Registration Board or be working under a Generic Limited Authority to Teach.

<p>We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and passionate people to join our community in the role of casual relief teacher. You will be a qualified teacher and registered with the Tasmanian Registration Board or be working under a Generic Limited Authority to Teach. </p><p>The School provides a supportive and inclusive environment that works to nurture quality education for our students, a learning environment for our staff and connection with the wider Friends’ community. </p><p>Our relief teachers are an integral part of the fabric of education at the School therefore we would like the applicants to have experience and/or knowledge in the following areas: </p><p>• Knowledge of relevant Australian curricula and methodology across relevant year groups. </p><p>• Deliver effective teaching and learning programs which are accessible to and engage all students. </p><p>• Use relevant ICT and learning management systems as an integral part of teaching practice. </p><p>• Interpersonal and collaboration skills to work within a wider team </p><p>• Responsibility for the effective pastoral care of students, in both classes, tutor groups and on excursions. </p><p>There are multiple roles available in both our Primary (K-6), Middle (6-7) and Senior (9-12) Schools and we would encourage both new and experienced teachers to apply. </p><p><br /></p><p>Further details on the role are provided under the employment section of The Friends’ School website www.friends.tas.edu.au/employment </p><p>Applications must include: </p><p>• A covering letter outlining your suitability for the role </p><p>• Your resume </p><p>and should be received by 9.00 am, Monday 27 May 2024.
