Applications are invited from suitably qualified secondary school leaders for the position of Deputy Principal - Campus Director at Kolbe Catholic College, Greenvale Lakes, commencing Term 1, 2025. The College is seeking an innovative educational leader to take up an invigorating career opportunity which has a breadth of leadership responsibilities in a Catholic school.

Initially the Deputy Principal Campus Director at Kolbe Catholic College will be responsible for setting up the Mickleham campus which will open in 2026. The position will also oversee some of the day to day operations of the current Greenvale Lakes site. From 2026 the Deputy Principal Campus Director will be primarily responsible for the day to day operations and student management on the Mickleham campus. <div><br /></div><div><b>Position Classification:<br /></b></div><div>Deputy Principal, Category B, Level 7</div><div>Salary: As per Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022</div><div>Full-time, 4-year contract with the possibility of renewal</div><div>Commencement Date: January 2025</div><div>Location: Greenvale Lakes (2025 Academic year), Greenvale and Mickleham Campus (As of 2026)</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>Actively support the Catholic identity and mission of Kolbe Catholic College.</li><li>Set and monitor high standards for students, staff, and all community members.</li><li>Lead the Campus Leadership Team.</li><li>Support the College&#39;s Student Wellbeing Strategy and Professional Standards Strategy.</li><li>Contribute to recruitment processes for leadership and teaching positions.</li></ul><div>For a comprehensive list of key responsibilities, please refer to the attached job description</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Qualifications and Experience:</b></div><ul><li>An appropriate qualification in education is required.</li><li>Postgraduate qualification in educational leadership or another area of education is highly desirable.</li><li>Demonstrated successful experience in educational leadership is highly desirable.</li><li>Accreditation to Teach Religious Education is desirable.</li><li>Possession of a current Victorian driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.<br /></li></ul><div><b>Key Selection Criteria:</b></div><ul><li>Proven experience in leading teams and working collaboratively.</li><li>Ability to support the animation of Catholic identity and mission.</li><li>Effective coordination and leadership skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Commitment to child protection and child safety.</li><li>Commitment to professional learning and development.</li><li>Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.</li></ul><div><b>Application Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>Current and valid working rights for Australia.</li><li>Registration as a teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.</li></ul><div>Kolbe Catholic College is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
