<p><strong>Location:</strong> Within schools, CBD and WFH<br><strong>Commencement Date:</strong> Immediate start or by negotiation&nbsp;<br><strong>Closing Date:</strong> Thursday, 30 May 2024<br><strong>Capacity:</strong> Full-time, permanent<br><br><br><strong>About the Role</strong><br><br>The Supervisor: Performing and Visual Arts - Events &amp; Programs focuses on leading, directing and supporting the work of the Artists in Residence and creative team within the Arts team. This involves a variety of Archdiocesan events, exhibitions and programs. Reporting to the Manager: Performing and Visual Arts, this is a vital role in ensuring that the Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) values are drivers for establishing a thriving Catholic community.&nbsp;<br><br>The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for, but not limited to:</p><ul><li>supervising events and exhibitions within the 10 Year Arts Project Plan, ensuring all Archdiocesan, Network and bespoke events are delivered to an excellent standard and follow system processes</li><li>leading the Arts team in the overall direction of events across the diocese</li><li>leading the student development programs and working with stakeholders to create opportunities with strategic partners</li><li>working closely with the Manager: Performing and Visual Arts on executing agreed goals and objectives in accordance with the Education &amp; Research directorate</li><li>facilitating, and ensuring rigour of a high standard, in the recruitment, induction and operational leadership of Artistic Advisors, Artists In Residence and creative support roles</li><li>leading and facilitating a rigorous procurement process to select high performing industry partners to work with the Arts Team in delivering Archdiocesan major events</li><li>initiating, leading and project managing major system performance projects and Archdiocesan events across SCS for school and community involvement</li><li>supporting the management of communications and marketing opportunities through the Arts Project, working across directorates to ensure a streamlined message to all stakeholders</li><li>managing budgets for multiple projects and programs</li><li>any other duties as directed from time to time.</li></ul><p><strong>Why work for Sydney Catholic Schools</strong><br><br>In joining SCS, you will be part of the largest Catholic education community in NSW, with a unified vision and shared resources, encompassing over 145 schools and over 74,000 students.
